Job summary

Arizona Public Service is seeking a Substation Engineering III/Senior to provide technical engineering, design, economic and analytical support for Transmission and Distribution Substations. You will perform engineering tasks, make technical decisions and may be required to shift work.

Responsibilities include interfacing with customers and departments, guiding other engineers, and ensuring compliance with design standards while staying current with technology.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent
• 5–8 years engineering-related experience
• Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to others

Responsibilities

• Prepares engineering plans, designs, analyses and verifications in substation projects.
• Interface with customers and internal teams to align scope with requirements, budget and schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineers and other staff.
