Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC seeks a Class A Lineman to safely construct, repair and maintain transmission lines, both energized and de-energized. The role may require travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, with reporting to the Foreman.

You will lead crews in the absence of the Employee in Charge, train apprentices, install overhead lines and operate bucket trucks and other line equipment, while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of recent transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair energized and de-energized transmission systems.
• Lead crew in the absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train apprentices and ground workers.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and during outages or emergencies.
