Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in the United States is seeking a safety‑focused Class B Lineman who can construct and repair electrical transmission systems. You’ll work on energized and de‑energized powerlines and may travel to various job sites, including out‑of‑state locations, as required by operations and customers.

You will report to the Foreman and perform new construction, maintenance, and repair of transmission lines, install hardware, climb structures, operate bucket trucks, and work outdoors in

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of transmission line experience.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead transmission lines and related hardware.
• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of energized and de-energized transmission systems.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and pullers.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and respond to outages or emergencies.
• Follow all safety protocols including PPE use and insulated protective equipment.
