Job summary

NEI Electric Power Engineering, Inc. seeks a senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead projects with autonomy and responsibility. You will mentor staff, manage designs, and contribute to cost estimates and schedules in a dynamic team environment.

The role supports both in-office (Lakewood, CO) and full-time remote work options, with a salary range of $100,000 to $150,000 per year based on experience in the Denver market.

Qualifications

• BSCE or BSCET from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• FE licensure; PE is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead overhead transmission and distribution line designs.
• Produce and review full design packages including drawings and pole details.
• Perform field inspections and construction supervision.
• Create project schedules and construction cost estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate team activities.
• Assist with proposals and business development.
