Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role offers flexible work arrangements with the option to work remotely or from offices across the Rocky Mountain region, including Salt Lake City, UT.

You will provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765 kV. Responsibilities include project scheduling, client coordination, QA/QC adherence, and staff mentorship,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field; PE license required (multi-state preferred).
10+ years of post-education experience in electrical transmission design.
Strong knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95; proficiency with PLS-CADD.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
Lead and/or support the initial project execution layout to ensure an efficient plan.
Create and maintain a project schedule and lead meetings.
Coordinate with clients on project status and deliverables.
Maintain cross‑discipline project communication and QA/QC adherence.
Forecast project requirements to assist in resource planning.
Travel to client offices/field/vendor facilities as needed.
