Job summary

RRC Power and Energy is seeking a Transmission Line Designer IV to advance our Texas-based office projects. You will design transmission lines using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, develop drawings, BOMs, and foundation details while ensuring adherence to NESC, ASCE 7, and client standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience and strong communication skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation. This full-time role offers flexible work options and opportunities for site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transmission line design.
• Experience with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE (wood, steel, concrete).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform transmission line design in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE (wood, steel, and concrete).
• Develop project drawings and documents including plan and profiles, BOM, assembly and foundation details.
• Interpret and apply standards to independently execute projects with guidance from senior engineers.
