You may perform Line Mechanic A duties as needed and oversee rapid service restoration and line switching to ensure reliable customer service. Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, have two years as a Line Mechanic A, and possess a valid Class A CDL and state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct a line crew in safe construction, maintenance, operation and retirement of distribution lines.
• Administer service restoration procedures for overhead and underground facilities.
• Direct or perform switching operations; request, make and accept line clearances.
• Mentor and develop line mechanics.
• Promote safety programs and comply with company policies.
• Ensure ethical conduct and adherence to safety rules.
