Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
• 7+ years of Substation, Relay, or Linework (Distribution or Transmission) experience with demonstrated competency and a clear understanding of advanced transmission work.
• The ability to pass the technical capability test.
• 1) Minimum of five years of discipline-specific or combination of field experience (Substation, Relay, or Distribution / Transmission Linework)
• 2) Prior relevant Operations Coordinator experience with SVP approval

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership, high-risk transmission work planning, and integration of Life Critical Rules and safe work practices.
• QA/QC oversight of transmission work packages against standards and equipment specifications.
• Prepare switching packages, clearances, isolation points, and outage sequencing with Transmission Control Center.
• Verify structure access, crane/tensioning setups, and environmental/ROW needs to ensure safe execution.
• Provide technical coaching, plan constructability improvements, and participate in post-job reviews.
