Job summary

Dispatch Biotherapeutics, Inc. seeks a Scientist/Senior Scientist for Translational Sciences to own in-house clinical biomarker assays and oversee biomarker capabilities.

You will work with ddPCR, flow cytometry, single-cell RNA-seq, and MSD assays, testing clinical samples and coordinating with CROs and vendors across R&D teams. You will report to the Director of Translational Sciences and contribute to future programs with rigorous data handling and cross-functional collaboration in a

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with postdoc or industry experience.
• Hands-on translational and clinical sample assays (e.g., ddPCR, flow cytometry).
• Experience with CROs or external bioanalytical vendors.
• Able to collaborate in a cross-functional environment and document work clearly.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-house translational assays on clinical samples with ownership of testing.
• Serve as a technical resource across the assay portfolio and train colleagues.
• Develop and implement new exploratory biomarker methods for future programs.
• Oversee external CROs, assay transfer, validation reviews and data reconciliation.
• Support vendor scoping, contracting and change-order management.
• Maintain systems for samples, data and critical reagent inventory.
• Analyze and reconcile biomarker data, ensuring high-quality documentation.
• Communicate results to Translational Sciences and cross-functional teams.
