Job summary

Crescent Biopharma is seeking a Senior Scientist, Translational Research to advance tissue-based biomarker strategies across our oncology portfolio. You will lead design, execution, and interpretation of IHC and biomarker studies, coordinating with Translational Medicine, Clinical Development, and external partners to drive data that informs development decisions.

You will oversee CRO-driven projects, evaluate advanced imaging and spatial biology technologies, and contribute to regulatory

Qualifications

Experience with multiplex IHC/IF, digital pathology, image analysis platforms, and spatial biology technologies.
Biomarker development experience for early-phase clinical trials.
Background in oncology, immuno-oncology, antibody therapeutics, ADCs, or targeted therapies.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of translational biomarker strategies across multiple oncology programs.
Design, oversee, and interpret IHC, multiplex IHC/immunofluorescence, and tissue-based biomarker studies.
Manage biomarker studies through CROs and external labs, including assay development, validation, data review, troubleshooting, and oversight.
Integrate tissue biomarker data with genomic, transcriptomic, and clinical data to generate actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify biomarkers for mechanism of action, PD activity, resistance, and patient stratification.
Present findings to internal teams, senior leadership, and external collaborators.
