Job summary

Moyer Move Management is seeking a Part-time Move Manager to lead field operations in the Washington, DC–Baltimore Metro area. You will coordinate moves, serve as the client liaison from pre-move planning to move day, and work hands-on with the crew to ensure a smooth, on-time move.

This role requires local Maryland availability, reliable transportation, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to work at least 24 hours per week across three consecutive days.

Qualifications

• Hands-on move experience — 1–2+ years in move management or relocation coordination.
• Strong teamwork and communication — work well in a crew and keep the job on schedule.

• Tech-savvy — proficient with move management software and quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute residential and commercial moves as part of the move team.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients on assigned jobs, including pre-move planning and move day.
• Work alongside move crews and vendors onsite to carry out the move plan.
• Handle inventory, packing logistics, and special-handling items.
• Coordinate with building management and move-in coordinators to ensure compliance with building requirements onsite.
• Help resolve issues and escalations quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records.

Status: Part-time, non-exempt

Work hours: Must be willing to work a minimum of 24 hours/week and a minimum of three consecutive days; no nights, weekends or major holidays required

Reports to: Vice President, Operations

Location: We are hiring move managers who are available to report to jobs in Carroll, Frederick and/or Howard County in Maryland; however, occasionally the position may asked to cover jobs in the surrounding area

Compensation Details

Hourly rate: $21–$23/hour commensurate with experience

Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; $1,000 employer-sponsored HRA contribution; 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching after six months; paid time off; cell phone stipend
