Moyer Move Management seeks a highly organized, client-focused Senior Transition Associate for field-based work in the Washington, DC–Baltimore Metro area. The role requires local availability and reliable transportation to keep moving days smooth and on schedule.

Be the calm, steady hand on moving days, guiding both residential and commercial moves and coordinating with crews, clients, and vendors to execute plans with precision.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to stay composed and professional under pressure.
• 1–2+ years in move management or relocation coordination.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication in a field crew.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; able to lift 25 lbs.
• Comfortable learning new move-management software.

Responsibilities

• Execute residential and commercial moves as part of the move team.
• Serve as a client contact on assigned jobs, including pre-move planning and move day.
• Collaborate with move crews and onsite vendors to implement the move plan.
• Handle inventory, packing logistics, and special-handling items.
• Coordinate with building management and move-in coordinators for onsite compliance.
• Resolve issues and escalations quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records.

Status: Part-time, non-exempt

Work hours: Must be willing to work a minimum of 24 hours/week and a minimum of three consecutive weekdays; no nights, weekends or major holidays required

Reports to: Vice President, Operations

Location: This position will primarily report to jobs in Northern Virginia; however, occasionally the position may asked to cover jobs in the surrounding area

Compensation Details:

• Hourly rate: $21–$23/hour commensurate with experience
• Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; $1,000 employer-sponsored HRA contribution; 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching after six months; paid time off; cell phone stipend

We’re looking for a highly organized, client-focused Senior Transition Associate who plays a key hands-on role in every move — from the first walkthrough to the final box unpacked — working closely alongside the rest of the crew to get it right. This is a hands‑on, field‑based role in the Washington, DC–Baltimore Metro area requiring local availability and reliable transportation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Execute residential and commercial moves as part of the move team
• Serve as a point of contact for clients on assigned jobs, including pre‑move planning and move day
• Work alongside move crews and vendors onsite to carry out the move plan
• Handle inventory, packing logistics, and special‑handling items
• Coordinate with building management and move‑in coordinators to ensure compliance with building requirements onsite
• Help resolve issues and escalations quickly and professionally
• Maintain accurate documentation and client records

• Hands‑on move experience — 1–2+ years in move management, relocation coordination, or a related field

• On‑the‑road and physical readiness — Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, availability for three or more consecutive days per week, and ability to lift at least 25 pounds in active environments
