Job summary

INIT Innovations in Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager II to lead high-profile transit technology projects in North America. You will manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality while coordinating across dispersed teams and stakeholders.

The role reports to the Director of Project Management and can be based in Seattle or Chesapeake. The ideal candidate has seven years of IT/ITS project experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of PM

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.
Minimum seven years of experience managing complex intelligent information systems and IT projects.
Independent, driven self-starter in a challenging environment.
Experience with project management lifecycles and PM tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Manage and close complex transit technology projects with globally dispersed teams.
Develop work breakdown structures and publish detailed project schedules.
Define and maintain project management, change, cost, and risk plans.
Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress and risk reports to stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional teams and manage suppliers and partners.
