Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead large-scale transit technology programs in New York City, focusing on fare payment systems, account-based ticketing, and mobility platforms.

You will coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure successful delivery. The role demands a proven leader with deep experience in multi-disciplinary transportation programs, strong client relationships, and the ability to present to senior executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business Admin, Transportation, Construction Management, Planning, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of progressively responsible project/program management experience.
• Minimum 10 years managing large-scale transit, transportation technology, fare systems, or related programs.
• Budgets over $50 million and complex multi-stakeholder programs.
• Experience with system integration, software/hardware deployment, testing, and implementation.
• Strong governance, risk management, and reporting experience.
• Lead large, cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; senior leadership briefing experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary PM lead for major fare collection, transit technology, and mobility projects.
• Coordinate with client executives, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, control, and reporting across the lifecycle.
• Maintain integrated schedules, budgets, risk/issue logs, and executive dashboards.
• Oversee cross-functional teams across technology, operations, finance, and engineering.
• Support governance meetings, steering committees, and technical reviews.
• Prepare executive materials, program updates, and Board reports.
• Mentor project managers and support business development efforts.
