Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Lead New Mobility Consultant in the New York, NY or San Francisco, CA offices. You will lead planning, design, and implementation of cutting-edge mobility solutions, mentor junior staff, and drive client engagement.

The role requires a BS in Transportation Planning or Engineering with 7+ years of related experience, and familiarity with microtransit, paratransit, and automated vehicles. Preferred Master’s degree and strong data skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Planning or Engineering and 7+ years of related experience.
• Familiarity with new mobility, microtransit, paratransit, shared mobility, alternative-fuel tech, CAV.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and implementation of new mobility solutions and technologies.
• Mentor junior staff in transportation planning and multimodal work.
• Lead client meetings, stakeholders, and business development activities.
• Collect and compile observational, spatial, and operational data for projects.
• Maintain QA/QC for measurements, demographics, trends, and analysis.
• Prepare data visualizations and reports for presentations.
• Produce concise documentation of memos, minutes, and transmittals.
• Apply latest technologies to studies of project areas and sensitivities.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and policies; manage resources ethically.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
