Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Transit Facilities Inspector to supervise inspection activities on transit and rail construction projects. The role requires coordination of staff, documentation, and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and environmental conditions.

The position emphasizes field work, client-facing duties, and the ability to address project issues in real time. Prior transit/rail experience and supervisory responsibilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening.
• Strong Computer Proficiency.
• Demonstrated experience in transit/rail construction inspection is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance with plans and specifications.
• Assign, schedule and maintain subordinate inspection staff throughout all phases of the project.
• Draft project correspondence, facilitate project meetings, and resolve field issues for the client.
