Job summary

Sound Transit seeks a Construction Management professional to lead staff and consultants, oversee contracts, and manage budgets on major projects. The role requires ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with all codes and agency policies while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

You will review construction documents, manage schedules, and facilitate clear communications among teams to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related field.
• Five years of experience in construction supervision, construction contract administration or engineering project management; equivalent combination accepted.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coordinates, schedules, assigns, and inspects the work activities of assigned staff, consultants, and contractors.
• Manages contracts, budgets, and cash flow for assigned contracts; ensures within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Reviews submittals, RFIs, and change orders; negotiates costs and prepares cost estimates.
