Job summary

Jacobs, based in the Puget Sound Area, seeks a Sr. Construction Manager Transit to lead rail and transit projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to meet budgets, schedules, and safety requirements.

You will manage client engagement, vendor relations, and field operations on civil works including tunnels, rail, and bridges, drawing on 15+ years of transit construction experience and a proven track record with Sound Transit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; experience may substitute.
• 15+ years of proven Construction Management experience on transportation projects.
• Experience with Sound Transit in delivery, operations, and construction.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, plans, specs and safety requirements.
• Proven track record leading large teams and managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction activities on civil projects including rail, roads, and bridges.
• Work with clients and contractors on change management, safety, quality, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Develop and deliver on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules.
• Multitask effectively and communicate clearly to tackle project challenges.
