Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced Construction Manager to oversee transit capital projects in a fast-paced environment. You will manage field construction, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project requirements.

Ideal candidates have rail/transit experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Primavera P6, Procore, and related tools. This role is based in Seattle and offers comprehensive benefits and a safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 3 years in transit/rail/heavy civil.
• Ability to manage contractors and oversee field construction in active transit environments.
• Familiarity with public-sector procurement, FTA guidelines, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with project management and construction tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities for transit projects including stations and trackwork.
• Manage contractors, inspectors, and field personnel to ensure safety and quality.
• Review drawings and submittals, resolve field constructability issues.
• Lead meetings, maintain records, and coordinate with operations and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulations including FTA when relevant.
