Job summary

STV in New York, NY seeks a Senior Transit Architectural professional to lead architectural design for transportation projects. You will shape the future of transit facilities, supervise plans, and coordinate across disciplines to deliver detailed, code-compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in rail/transit architecture, strong presentation skills, and proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD. Licensed NY candidates are preferred. This is an on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture with rail/transit focus preferred.
• 15+ years as a project architect in the rail/transit sector.
• Experience in transportation and transit architecture design.
• Revit/AutoCAD plus Microsoft Office proficiency; LEED a plus.
• Registered Architect in NY preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural plans or supervise their execution.
• Analyze design systems, planning studies, layouts, and details.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and other disciplines.
• Conduct site and construction inspections and prepare reports.
• Perform code analysis, material selections, and technical solutions.
• Develop design layouts and construction features for projects.
• Lead and coach architectural staff; ensure QA/QC.
