Job summary

STV, a leading architecture and engineering firm, seeks a Senior Transit Architectural in New York, NY to shape transportation projects. You will coordinate an architectural/engineering team, develop designs from concept to construction documents, and interface with clients and consultants.

The role requires 15+ years in rail/transit architecture, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, and strong presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Professional Degree in Architecture; M. Arch preferred.
• 15+ years as a project architect in rail/transit.
• Transit architecture design experience including stations.
• Licensed architect in NY preferred; Revit/AutoCAD proficiency.
• OpenBuildings, Rhino, 3DS Max, SketchUp a plus; LEED is a plus.
• Strong design, detailing, and presentation skills; team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural staff and coordinate multi-discipline designs.
• Prepare architectural plans and supervise execution.
• Analyze design/construction systems; prepare specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and construct interpretive reports.
• Ensure code compliance and technical adequacy of design.
• Oversee shop drawings review and RFIs during construction.
