Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of experience as a project architect working within the rail/transit sector.
• Experience in the transportation sector is required.
• Transit Architecture design experience including station and related facilities is required.
• Registered Licensed Architect in the State of New York is preferred.
• Excellent design, technical detailing, and strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with and coordinate an architectural/engineering team in developing designs.
• Prepare architectural plans and documents for transportation projects.
• Conduct site and construction inspections for information-gathering purposes.
• Lead and coach architectural staff and develop design details.
