Qualifications
Minimum of 12 years of experience as a project architect working within the rail/transit sector.
Experience in the transportation sector is required.
Transit Architecture design experience including station and related facilities is required.
Registered Licensed Architect in the State of New York is preferred.
Excellent design, technical detailing, and strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are essential.
Responsibilities
Work with and coordinate an architectural/engineering team in developing designs.
Prepare architectural plans and documents for transportation projects.
Conduct site and construction inspections for information-gathering purposes.
Lead and coach architectural staff and develop design details.
