Job summary

UT Austin is seeking an Assistant Director for Transfer Admissions to support the Associate Director in ensuring efficient transfer application processing. You will supervise the team handling transfer credit evaluation and act as the primary Articulation Officer, coordinating across Slate CRM and UT Mainframe to maintain accurate policies and publications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with five years of experience in university admissions or related fields.
• Experience supervising, training, or coordinating professional staff.
• Demonstrated ability to use CRM systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional work and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team responsible for application completion and credit review for transfer admission; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as the primary Articulation Officer; evaluate transfer credits from domestic and international institutions and maintain articulation rules.
• Work with Associate Director to keep websites, publications, and materials up to date and accurate.
• Liaise with campus community to communicate transfer policies and credits; engage with internal and external partners to resolve questions.
• Assist with admission document processing and applicant communications during busy periods and cross-functional initiatives.
• Support broader enrollment operations initiatives and collaborate with Texas Student Experience teams to improve processes and workflows.
