Job summary

KellyMitchell is seeking a Transactional Messaging Specialist for a 12-month contract in New York, NY. This hybrid role combines on-site and remote work (4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week) and focuses on high-volume transactional messaging across global streaming platforms, including commerce, identity, billing, compliance, and customer communications.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in marketing operations, messaging operations, analytics, or a related applied role.

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, test, and deploy transactional email solutions using HTML and template scripting
Partner with Product, Marketing, Localization, Data, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and develop messaging solutions
Work with JSON and dynamic data integrations to support personalized and transactional communications
Translate approved designs into production‑ready email experiences
Perform self‑QA, peer‑review QA, marketer UAT, and post‑deployment monitoring to identify and resolve issues
Troubleshoot email rendering, formatting, dark mode, dynamic content, and other messaging issues across environments
Support messaging platform migrations, modular email frameworks, experimentation, reporting, and continuous optimization
