Planned Systems International, Inc. in Richland, WA seeks a Senior Training Specialist to design and deliver education and development programs for 222-S Lab staff. You will identify training needs, create curricula, and align content with safety requirements.

You will develop lesson plans, coordinate on-the-job training, and assess trainee performance while ensuring DOE Order 426.2 compliance and current training methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in related field and 8 years of related experience.
• Must have courses in education or training that focus on instructional analysis, design, development, delivery, and testing, as well as evaluation of training programs, if baccalaureate is not in Training or Education.
• Familiarity with application and implementation of DOE Order 426.2.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Develop and revise training materials for 222-S Lab positions using the Systematic Approach to Training and ADDIE model that meets requirements of DOE order 426.2.
• Coordinate Needs analysis and job/tasks analysis in the development of training.
• Develop training programs in conjunction with task to training matrix.
• Develop lesson plans designed to enable trainees to meet terminal and enabling objectives.
• Work with on-the-job trainers and evaluators to ensure OJT/OJE requirements and expectations are met.
• Validate and assess exam questions based on trainee performance and feedback.
• Assess and revise training materials as changes in policy, procedures, regulations, and requirements occur.
• Function as a Training subject matter expert for 222-S staff. May function as technical authority for Training procedures.
• Interface with Procedure Writers to ensure procedures and training material are aligned.
• May represent the organization to internal groups and provide development-specific information to requestors.
• May function as a lead, providing work direction, coaching, mentoring, and career development support to training staff.
• Develops, performs, and documents formal and informal assessments to determine training program effectiveness.
• Manage special projects or assignments as directed by the Performance Assurance Manager.
