Job summary

Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL) is seeking a Senior Training Specialist in Richland, WA to lead education and development programs for the 222-S Lab team. You will partner with functional groups to identify needs, create course content and materials, and implement effective training methods.

You will design curricula, coordinate needs analysis, and work with on-the-job trainers to ensure OJT/OJE requirements are met, while staying current with training research and DOE criteria.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8 years of related experience.
Courses in education/training focusing on instructional analysis, design, development, delivery and testing, plus evaluation.
Familiarity with DOE Order 426.2.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Prepare and conduct education training and development programs.
Identify training needs and develop course content and materials.
Design, develop, coordinate and implement training methods/curricula.
Ensure employees acquire the necessary skills to perform safely and proficiently.
Maintain awareness of training research and new materials/techniques.
Develop and revise training materials for 222-S Lab positions using ADDIE.
