Job summary

L.A. Care Health Plan is seeking a Training and Development Specialist III to design, develop, and facilitate high-impact learning programs. This role focuses on instructional design, content development, and live facilitation across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.

The candidate will act as SME, mentor staff, and ensure training aligns with regulatory and departmental guidelines while using Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, and LMS tools to measure outcomes and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Minimum 4 years in adult learning, design, and delivery of training programs.
• Experience with digital and instructor-led learning solutions.
• Proven instructional design and training facilitation experience.
• Experience in Managed Care, Medicaid, Medicare, and agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and facilitate high-impact learning programs.
• Create storyboards, scripts, and prototypes for digital and blended learning.
• Deliver in-person, virtual, and hybrid trainings; mentor staff as SME.
• Maintain LMS content, training agendas, and compliance documentation.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and analytics.
