Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Southern California is seeking a Learning Solutions Specialist to design, develop, and implement advanced instructional materials including eLearning, videos, and simulations. You will collaborate with clinicians, administrators, and IT to assess needs and drive adoption of KP HealthConnect (Epic) and related initiatives.

The role emphasizes instructional design expertise, use of modern tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, SnagIt), and leveraging AI to streamline design

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in technical writing or content management.
• Minimum one year of experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communication, Business Management, Nursing, Psychology, or related field AND minimum five years in instructional design, adult education, or a related field, OR minimum eight years in instructional design, adult education, or a related field.
• Experience with instructional design tools and development of courseware for end users.

Responsibilities

• Promotes learning by developing information, resources, and expertise with stakeholders.
• Designs and implements training using data and metrics to meet accreditation criteria.
• Ensures training content remains accurate and compliant with policies and standards.
