Job summary

Paychex is reimagining how businesses manage their workforce with an integrated HCM platform, expanding training across products and services. This role reports to the Vice President of Organizational Development and collaborates with the Director of Training and Development to deliver timely classroom and field-based training.

The position requires leading a diverse training team, managing program quality within budgets, and aligning training initiatives with business goals to drive performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5 years of management experience.
• 10+ years of training experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct outputs of Training and Development Center employees including trainers and instructional designers.
• Manage staff delivering training across company products, systems, sales, operations, and corporate training.
• Recruit and interview new training managers with the Director of Training and Development.
• Coach and develop other training managers.
• Ensure programs meet budget and quality expectations.
• Review budgets with senior leadership and adjust operating plans accordingly.
• Identify training needs across business units with senior/executive input.
• Evaluate external resources and internal development for training solutions.
• Oversee design of new training programs and measure effectiveness.
• Research development methods to improve knowledge retention and applicability.
• Support process improvements and productivity gains in assigned areas.
• Maintain liaisons with external training organizations and partners.
