Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal or Sr Principal Training Rep to join our engineering organization for national defense. You will identify training needs, plan events, manage logistics, and document progress in a learning management system.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, experience with curriculum development and in-person instruction, and the ability to work with a technical team to ensure training solutions meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Familiarity with instructional systems design (ISD) / ADDIE process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with learning management systems and eLearning tools such as Adobe Captivate and/or Articulate 360.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate in-house and external training programs for engineering functions.
• Design in-house training with subject matter experts; develop materials and determine delivery methods.
• Conduct training sessions and evaluate effectiveness using feedback and metrics.
• Update lesson plans to address new requirements and keep content current.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and training status reports.
