Job summary

Weekend work may be required, and schedules can begin as early as 7:00 am and end as late as 8:00 pm, reflecting the extended hours facility environment.

Qualifications

• Plan, design, and develop curricula; set long-term training goals.
• Develop, review, revise, and implement training programs and policies.
• Design training materials; evaluate training outcomes.
• Advise staff and promote effective training methods.
• Promote training services and collaborate with management to resolve training problems.
• May manage contracts for training services.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and develop curricula; develop methods for the assessment and evaluation of training goals.
• Develop, review, revise and implement training programs, policies, and procedures; evaluate data and review reports.
• Design, create, evaluate and review training materials; recommend modifications to improve results of training aids and text materials.
• Advise staff in resolving training problems and ensure effective use of modern training methods.
• Promote the use of training services and collaborate with managers to resolve issues.
