Job summary

The Training Institute Senior Specialist at Credit Builders Alliance leads and delivers training, technical assistance, and curriculum to credit building professionals, presenting CBA’s signature trainings, leading cohorts, and supporting curriculum development.

This role manages webinars, plans cohorts for housing providers and credit initiatives, recruits participating organizations, and measures outcomes for funders, while collaborating with teams to keep content current and impactful.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and public speaking experience.
• Background in nonprofit financial capability or credit-related work.
• Highly organized with strong ownership of quality work.
• Experience training or facilitating presentations in credit or finance.
• Ability to set and adapt goals based on needs and priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Zoom, and collaboration tools.
• Commitment to helping community development through credit access.
• Strong integrity, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Salesforce; project management experience (Asana).
• Experience in financial coaching, housing counseling, or credit education.

Responsibilities

• Lead CBA’s signature credit trainings for practitioners serving consumers and small businesses.
• Deliver virtual and in-person training series to support organizations in housing, rent reporting, and credit tools.
• Provide individual credit-building support for organizations’ programs.
• Lead webinars, recruit speakers, coordinate logistics.
• Plan and lead grant and consulting cohorts for housing providers and credit professionals.
• Recruit organizations into funded programs.
• Gather program data, measure outcomes, and write impact reports for funders.
