Job summary

FleetPride is seeking an experienced Trailer Technician III to master preventative maintenance on trailer systems and train others. You will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements to minimize downtime for customers.

The role requires 7+ years on class 7 & 8 trailers, welding ability, and air-brake certification. Expect a physically demanding environment with safety as a priority and opportunities for growth within FleetPride.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with repairing class 7 & 8 trailers.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues and find efficient solutions.
• Welding experience and air brake knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Examine trailers to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Diagnose, repair, build and rebuild all parts of trailer equipment.
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity and prevent comebacks.
• Perform routine maintenance such as lubrications and component replacements.
• Repair brakes (air, hydraulic, electric) and adjust components.
• Test components with proper equipment to ensure operations.
