TYLin is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to lead traffic operations projects in the New York City region. You will head a team of engineers, oversee signing, striping, signals and other facilities, and coordinate with clients, agencies, and on-site staff to ensure safety and project success.

You will manage budgets, review data analytics, and lead multi-disciplinary collaboration for large-scale transportation infrastructure programs, often requiring on-site presence and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience leading transportation projects with staff, budgets, and clients.
• Expertise in traffic engineering design including signing, striping, and signals.
• Strong data analytics to support decisions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to develop creative solutions for large regional hubs.
• Provide guidance and final review of traffic engineering designs.
• Oversee safety and good repair for agency facilities and projects.
• Coordinate with agency officials and stakeholders.
• Prioritize and delegate client requests to internal and external teams.
