Job summary

Consor in Houston is seeking a Senior Traffic Project Manager to lead complex traffic engineering and transportation operations projects across the Houston region, guiding them from planning through construction support.

You will direct multidisciplinary teams, manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and client relations, ensuring compliance with TxDOT, MUTCD, AASHTO and local criteria. This role emphasizes technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required; 15+ years of transportation engineering experience and 5+ years in project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project scopes, schedules, and fee estimates for traffic projects.
• Provide oversight for traffic engineering, ITS, MOT, and PS&E across all project phases.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Serve as primary client contact and grow client relationships.
• Drive pursuit strategy and business development for new projects.
