Job summary

Consor in Houston seeks a Senior Traffic Project Manager to lead complex traffic engineering and transportation operations projects regionally. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and pursue new opportunities to expand the firm’s footprint in transportation planning and ITS.

The role requires PE licensure, 15+ years in transportation engineering and 5+ years in project management, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience managing scopes, schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Established client relationships and success in winning work with DOT/municipal/regional agencies.
• Experience supporting or leading business development efforts, proposal prep, and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project scopes, schedules, and fee estimates.
• Provide oversight and technical direction for complex traffic engineering projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality studies and PS&E packages.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
• Drive pursuit strategy and proposal development to win new projects.
