Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in the U.S. seeks a Traffic Engineering – Senior Project Manager to join our New England traffic team and lead complex projects from initiation through operations.

You will direct multi-disciplinary teams, manage client relationships, budgets, and schedules, and mentor staff while delivering innovative mobility and safety solutions for state and regional clients across Southern New England.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering traffic engineering projects from initiation to operations.
• Licensed PE in CT or RI or eligible for reciprocity within 6 months.
• PTOE certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and client-focused delivery.
• Willingness to travel for project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and execution of project scope, objectives, and requirements with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage internal staff, sub-consultants, and vendors.
• Coordinate with DOTs and regional agencies; present to diverse audiences.
• Contribute to proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projects.
• Foster staff technical development and mentorship.
• Uphold safety, ethics, and company policies; adapt to project needs.
