WSP in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineering Project Manager to lead the growth of our traffic practice from Charlotte or Raleigh offices. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer in North Carolina.
• Experience with traffic engineering software (HCS, Synchro, VISSIM, ArcGIS, TransModeler).
• Prequalification with NCDOT for Capacity Analysis Levels 1 & 2 and Traffic Impact Studies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager for traffic engineering projects.
• Work on traffic analyses, feasibility studies, and transit projects for state and municipal clients.
• Complete traffic studies and review traffic impact studies.
• Support design-build or other traffic projects as needed.
• Conduct intersection and corridor improvement studies and safety analyses.
• Lead investigations of site conditions, signage, signals, and pavement markings.
• Develop concepts for intersection and corridor improvements and coordinate with authorities and clients.
• Oversee cross-functional teams including budgets, hours, and deliverables.
