Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Traffic Engineer for our Smart Mobility Practice in Ontario, CA or Tustin, CA to lead traffic engineering design and analysis on complex transportation projects.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor staff, and contribute to business development while collaborating across markets. A CA PE license and 10+ years of experience are preferred, with a focus on Caltrans District 8 or 12 projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering from an accredited institution.
Current Professional Civil (PE) License in California.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in traffic engineering.
Collaborative team player who communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery: Managing traffic engineering design and analysis tasks or projects with scope, schedule, budget, and quality management.
Technical Leadership: Provide direction and staffing across markets to fulfill project and business opportunities.
Business Development: Cultivate and maintain client relationships to support opportunities.
Staff Development: Mentor junior staff and promote professional growth.
Talent Management: Help attract and retain top Smart Mobility talent.
