David Evans and Associates, Inc. is seeking a California Transportation Group Leader / Senior Project Manager to guide the Roads and Highways practice from California offices (Ontario, Tustin, San Diego).

You will drive project delivery, client management, and business development for complex transportation programs across the state. Qualified candidates will hold a CA PE license, have 15+ years of transportation engineering experience, and demonstrate leadership across multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• California PE license, or ability to obtain within six months.
• 15+ years of transportation engineering experience.
• 5+ years of project management delivering transportation projects for Caltrans/local agencies.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Lead California transportation staff across California and mentor teams.
• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate staffing resources and project workloads to meet delivery commitments.
• Engage in business development, client meetings, and pursuit strategies.
• Support long-term client relationships with Caltrans and regional agencies.
