Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Transportation Project Manager to lead delivery of complex roadway projects in Southern California from offices in Tustin or Ontario. You will guide design teams, coordinate with agencies, and mentor staff.

Requirements include 10+ years in transportation engineering, 5+ years PM or design lead, a CA PE license, and a Civil Engineering degree; OpenRoads Designer experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience, with at least 5 years in project management or as a design lead.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage transportation projects for local and state agencies.
• Ensure excellence in project execution, delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-budget outcomes.
• Possess technical knowledge of roadway and infrastructure engineering, to oversee transportation designs and plan development.
• Provide guidance and leadership to design teams, ensuring that engineering documents and deliverables meet contractual requirements.
• Assist in cultivating and maintaining effective client relationships to support project delivery.
• Promote employee development and career growth opportunities.
• Support the Roads and Highways California Group Leader in attracting and retaining top talent.
• Adhere to company-wide tools, processes, and policies, including project accounting and QA standards.
