Apex Engineering Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Traffic Engineer to lead traffic operations studies, corridor studies, and multi‑modal analyses from multiple Apex offices or remotely within 250 miles.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with project managers, and develop opportunities with public and private clients. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, PTOE certification, 5+ years of traffic/transportation planning experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, and traffic

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineers License or ability to be licensed in ND and MN within 6 months.
• PTOE certification required.
• 5+ years of traffic engineering/transportation planning experience.
• Experience with ND/MN transportation projects a plus.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience with traffic modeling tools (Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, Vissim).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead traffic operations studies and corridor studies.
• Perform traffic engineering analyses and design tasks.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and communications.
• Lead design as engineer-of-record for traffic projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and staff to meet deadlines.
• Assist with budgets and business development activities.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in interviews.
