Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer / Project Manager in New York City who will lead and support diverse transportation projects. You will drive business development, mentor a team, and collaborate with engineers to deliver planning studies, analyses, and stakeholder engagement.

The role requires a PE license and 15+ years in transportation engineering, with 8+ years in project management and 5+ years working with NYDOT/CTDOT/NJDOT, in a hybrid NYC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; NY/NJ/CT PE license; PTOE/RSP certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years in transportation engineering, 8 years in project management, and 5 years with NYDOT/CTDOT/NJDOT.
• Strong understanding of transportation planning and traffic engineering.
• Proven track record coordinating interdisciplinary teams on large transportation projects.
