Metric Geo in Columbus, OH seeks a Senior Traffic Engineer / Project Manager to lead traffic engineering projects and manage client relationships. The role combines technical leadership with project management, coordinating multidisciplinary teams across planning, design, and operations for state DOTs, municipalities, counties, MPOs and private clients.

You will own project delivery, mentor junior staff, drive business development, and oversee QA/QC to ensure high-quality, compliant solutions

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license in Ohio or ability to obtain reciprocity within six months.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive traffic/transportation engineering experience.
• Experience managing and delivering traffic projects for ODOT, municipalities, counties, MPOs or similar agencies.
• Strong understanding of ODOT development processes, standards, and MUTCD/OMUTCD requirements.
• Experience with traffic engineering software such as Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, SIDRA, VISSIM, TransModeler.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage traffic engineering projects from planning through delivery and closeout.
• Oversee scope, schedules, budgets, staffing and technical deliverables; ensure on-time, on-budget results.
• Provide technical leadership across traffic operations, safety studies and forecasting.
