Job summary

Creighton Manning, a GAI Company, seeks a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Syracuse office. The candidate will lead traffic tasks with complex features, in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, and collaborate with peers while supervising others when needed.

Familiarity with DOT standards and MUTCD design requirements is essential. Responsibilities include producing and checking traffic reports, design plans, calculations, and cost opinions, along with traffic modeling, signal design,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 12+ years of experience.
• PTOE desired.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• MicroStation CAD skills required; OpenRoads Designer experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production and checking of technical traffic reports, design plans, design calculations, specifications, and cost opinions.
• Perform traffic modeling and analysis (Highway Capacity Software, Synchro/SimTraffic, etc.), traffic signal design, signing and pavement marking design; and traffic control (Maintenance and Protection of Traffic) design.
• Serve as a Task Manager on projects.
