Job summary
Creighton Manning, a GAI Company, is seeking a Transportation Planner/Engineer to join our team in a role that blends transportation planning with project management and client relations. The position involves leading projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and delivering planning studies for corridors and intersections.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in transportation planning, experience managing staff and client interactions, and a commitment to QA/QC.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience, including 3 to 4 years supervisory.
- AICP Certification is required or Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure.
- Active member of a professional practice organization.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of transportation planning.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Project Management and the day‑to‑day client relations on individual projects.
- Develop and grow client relationships and partnerships.
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day staffing and project scheduling.
- Manage or assist on complex planning studies and proposals.
- Develop and oversee transportation plans, studies and analysis that lead to strategies or projects.
- Lead project/public meetings on complex projects.
- Prepare bills for projects.
- QA/QC.
