Econolite Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to plan, design, and optimize traffic signal operations for intersections and corridors.

You will develop timing strategies and analyze performance to support Econolite's Centracs Mobility platform, working with agencies and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The role requires 8–15 years in traffic engineering, strong analytical skills, and experience with Centracs Mobility and simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with traffic signal timing plan development for public agencies.
• Proficiency with traffic engineering software and ATMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize traffic signal timing plans for intersections, corridors, and regional transportation networks.
• Conduct traffic operations analyses using Centracs Mobility, PTV Vissim, Vistro, Flows, Synchro, and SimTraffic.
• Evaluate traffic signal performance and validate improvements through field data and performance measures.
• Support integration of detection systems, transit signal priority, and multimodal strategies.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports defining scope, configuration, and outcomes.
