Infra Tech Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to manage substantial transportation projects in New York and New Jersey. The ideal candidate will collaborate in a team setting and hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a Master’s in Traffic Engineering preferred.

This role requires over four years of experience in signal design, plan production, and traffic element coordination, including ITS and roadway lighting.

Formación

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• MS in Traffic Engineering is advantageous/preferrable.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in NY or ability to obtain within one year is preferred.
• PTOE certification is preferred.
• Over four years of experience in Traffic/ITS design, highway geometric design, and traffic element coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct traffic engineering design tasks including signal design, signing, striping, pavement marking plans, intersection and highway lighting, electrical plans, and ITS design.
• Prepare traffic detours, Transportation Management Plans, and Traffic Control Plans.
• Coordinate roadwork plans using Micro Station for highway, roadway, interchange, and drainage projects.
• Perform capacity analyses using HCM, HCS, Synchro, and SimTraffic.
• Assist in preparing PS&E and construction cost estimates.
