Egis Group in Pennsylvania is seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our team.

You will mentor junior staff, conduct signal timing studies, design ITS and lighting systems, and coordinate traffic projects with public and private clients. Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.
• PA PE license required.
• 5+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience.
• PennDOT or PA Turnpike experience required.
• Experience using CADD design software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff and help grow the traffic department.
• Conduct signal timing studies and evaluation of signal systems.
• Design ITS, traffic signal, and lighting systems.
• Develop signing and pavement marking plans.
• Coordinate work tasks to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• Prepare plans for PSE with specifications, TABS, and estimates.
• Coordinate internal traffic work to support other offices.
• Clearly communicate work through drawings, documents, reports.
