Street Traffic Studies Ltd in Maryland seeks a Senior Traffic Engineer to provide technical leadership on traffic studies and transportation analyses. You will conduct field observations, analyze data, and prepare clear reports for clients and local communities, guiding road safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, AutoCAD or similar) and strong quantitative analysis skills.
• Experience in Transportation Planning and Traffic Studies, with the ability to develop and review technical documentation and planning reports.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients, agencies, and project teams, and to manage multiple assignments efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic and transportation projects, including design, review, and oversight of traffic studies and analyses.
• Conduct field observations and analyze traffic data, safety evaluations, and prepare reports and presentations for clients and local communities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and provide expert recommendations on traffic operations, roadway improvements, and transportation plans.
